I don't play WoW anymore, was 99% sure I'd never even renew my subscription, but...

( then I read this little detail about Cataclysm, the next expansion. )

Tired, sore, can't hear/think properly. In other words, just got back from teh D'espairsray concert.

IT WAS SO AWESOME! I'm squeeing and happy and a bit flaily here. Seriously, it beat the previous number one, or Gazette's gig by a mile in my head, and that's saying a LOT.

Can't name any songs (boo!) because I CAN'T THINK and it's all just a big blur of insanely awesome music in my head. A bit of old, a bit of new. Hizumi's voice is gorgeous live! There were times I just shut my eyes and listened.

But. Fangirly bits.

I kinda want Karyu's leopard-print shirt.

Tsukasa played the flute! Didn't know he did that, although I'm so out of the loop of what's going on that I'm not surprised. Sounded awesome btw, and his nervous giggle in the middle when he paused was adorable. Couldn't see him at all during the rest of the concert, because of where I was standing.

Zero's a tease. He was always right at the edge of the stage, being grabbed and petted and touched by fans.

Also, he spit/sprayed water at me. Okay, yeah so he did that a lot, but I was on the friggin' balcony! He climbed a speaker to be able to reach us poor folk up there. (The balcony's supposed to be a safe spot, people!) I got most of the first spray on my face/arms, and still can't decide whether to be grossed or amused or creepy-fangirly because it also got on my mouth. Heh.

Then Hizumi climbed the same speaker, tried to reach out for us too to touch hands, but in the end was just laughing and 'no, no' because - yep, impossible. Too far away. But a good try, bb, and had he succeeded in just a tiiiny bit further, my hand would've been right there...

*cough*

Anyway. Feeling fabulous and happy because the boys seemed to be bouncy and on a really really good mood and happy to be there and interacted with the audience a lot.

Oh, and Hizumi spoke Finnish to us - he had a note to read from, but it was all perfectly pronounced and understandable (I understood his Finnish better than his English!) and we all squeed and then he told, in Finnish, to Karyu to say something too, and Karyu was all 'Minä rakastan teitä' (I love you) or something like that, and I wish I could remember exactly but it's all too jumbled in my head.

And now I'm going to try and calm down a bit, play with photoshop a bit or watch tv or something.

I found my old Savage Garden cd today, and am currently listening to it. I had completely forgotten how much I used to love this band! Absolutely fantastic music.

Unfortunately it also got me thinking about all the crappy fanfics I wrote during the late 90's. None about Savage Garden, although I did read slash about them, what little it was available - but about my other obsession: Placebo. I still have some of those saved on my 'old trash'-folder, and oh my god they're so bad. I just skimmed through some of them, and I can't believe I actually publicly posted them.

Hmm. I'm feeling all embarrassed and old and nostalgic now. :D

The point in all of this nonsense is: I wish so much I'd just kept writing. I was so prolific, and now I can barely string a few sentences together. I've managed to finish one(!) story during these last few years, and that was a short PWP that I'm not sure was that great either. So, nowadays I just read.

(Oh. Just realized: D'espairsray concert is next Saturday! Eee!)

I also might post some pictures in a few days. Went to see my parents a while ago, and while there I tested how good my new phone's camera is. Surprisingly decent pictures, all in all. (It's a Sony Ericsson Xperia, btw, and I love it so much. :x)

Oh my god I just watched a Zac Efron movie and actually liked it. Huh. The other night I read Jonas Brothers slash. (This feels like confessions time.)

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME? I feel dirty.

Now I'll go listen to Gazette's new album and sob quietly in the corner.

Also, spn_gossip is both extremely amusing and really creeping me out. I admit on wearing my sparkly tinhat occasionally, but for fuck's sake some of the people there are batshit insane in their conspiracy theories.

So apparently there is a fire? In our house? Just woke up from a nap looked out of the window and there's FOUR firetrucks and a huge amount of people and and... WTF?



EDIT: Apparently some room RIGHT BELOW US was on fire.

Oookay. Fun. Jesus, but my heart has never beat so fast like it did when our doorbell rang and there was a fireman and he was all "So, yeah, there's a bit of a fire but DON'T WORRY it's under control!"

It smells like smoke. Got to open up windows as soon as it's allowed. Need to stop freaking the fuck out, it was nothing serious.

I'll never complain my life is boring ever again.
